DUTY - So I'll do MY duty!
I pray that God will give us some people who will swallow their pride, give themselves up with love and devotion and say,
"Whatever it is, Lord, I will do my duty.
I will serve You out of obedience and love, I will be a devoted servant!"
God help those who have their minds, their health, their physical strength and can go at leisure and do whatever they want to do, yet sit around and whine, complain and make excuses!
You look at someone who has half your talent and wonder why God is using him.
WHY? Because he/she is willing to go. He may not do much, but he will raise the flag for his Savior and do what he can because it is his duty!
Put aside your pride. You may not be the best, but by the grace of God, do what is your duty to do!
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
Luke 17:10
1. It seems to me that it is my duty to believe every word in His book - So I'll do MY duty.
2. I think it is my duty to keep a warm heart - So I'll do MY duty.
3. I think it is my duty to rejoice every day - So I'll do MY duty.
4. I think it is my duty to walk with God - So I'll do MY duty.
5. I think it is my duty to give out Gospel tracts - So I'll do MY duty.
6. I think it is my duty to love sinners - So I'll do MY duty.
7. I think my duty is to be in church - So I'll do MY duty.
8. I think it is my duty to give tithes - So I'll do MY duty.
9. I think it is my duty to run with the right crown and avoid the wrong crowd - So I'll do MY duty.
10. I think it is my duty to be loyal to the church - So I'll do MY duty.
11. I think it is my duty to stand against the enemies of God - So I'll do MY duty.
12. I think my duty is to love what is right and hate what is wrong - So I'll do MY duty.
13. I think it is my duty to separate myself from the world and dress right - So I'll do MY duty.
14. I think my duty is to represent my Lord as well as I possibly can - So I'll do MY duty.
God is looking for vessels he can use, willing to do whatever He says by DOING MY DUTY!
He is looking for some old, broken-down vessels, that are not so impressed with themselves, but are willing to do whatever He says to do.
He is looking for someone who will say, "I'm an unprofitable servant, but I WILL do what is my duty.
Christians, just do your duty!
